Dear Hollywood,
Let people make their own imaginations about Lecter's childhood! We are intelligent beings. We CAN think for ourselves. We do not need to see or be told everything about a character. Sometimes it is good for a character to have some "black holes" in his or hers past. Sometimes it makes them more interesting.
