Back from Poland to Toronto.
It was the toughest travel in my life. Not physically, mentally.
I do not regret coming, this was priceless experience to see how acute the sense of war is in Poland, with its blue and yellow flags, and so many refugees flooding the streets of Poland capital.
Warsaw airport was the most heart breaking. People, mostly women with kids and elderly people, crying, exchanging stories about their escape from war. Leaving their lives behind and heading to the unknown. This was just so heavy. We will never forge. Never forgive.
The realization of one important aspect came to me on my way back.
No matter how far we all live, in this war Ukrainians function as one organism. We flawlessly operate with logistics and communication. We support one another.
And also, when the bombs are dropped in Ukraine, it hurts in every corner of the planet where Ukrainian can be found.
