"настоящего рок-н-ролльного" премьер-министра, да и сама президент тоже бывала на их шоу.
Юрки смеётся и говорит, что его устраивает статус
"государственной группы". Премьер-министр забрёл также и на backstage и попозировал там с музыкантами для фотографов.
Finland’s prime minister Matti Vanhanen visited The 69 eyes Tokyo concert as a surprise guest.
The 69 eyes who played in Japan got a surprise guest to their gig when Finland's prime minister appeared among the audience in Astro Hall-club. The band recognized Vanhanen easily, since he was much taller than the japanese people. “The japanese fists” went though air and there was this tall man behind them. The singer Jyrki 69 tells that he had this special feeling to wave his skeleton glove at the stage when the prime minister was watching. The surprise visit was succesful since Vanhanen was on a work trip in Tokyo. The 69 eyes know Vanhanen already from the past. Jyrki 69 tells that he gave a Unicef special recognition with Vanhanen to Elisabeth Rehn in the Unicef charity gala where the 69 eyes also performed. We played there and now here to the prime minister. The 69 eyes is now a rock band of the state, and that suits us well, laughs Jyrki 69. Vanhanen visited the back stage as well. “We have a Real rock’n’roll prime minister. We already made a deal with Vanhanen that we’ll see each other in Provinssirock in June." (says Jyrki) Mr. Vanhanen was also pleased to meet the band. He posed with the dark-looking band with a smile on his face. “Now I can swagger to my kids”, laughed Vanhanen.
