Arena trick - is the way to more effective grinding and get crowns and heat 2-3 times faster in Spiral Knights.
Arenas - more hard then normal levels, but going thru it gaves much more crowns and heat. Symbol of arena - shield.
To do Arena Trick - you need minimum 3 people, and minimum 2 of them must have 3stars weapon and armor.
How it works
1) One of you need to go to any stratum 2 arena (on levels 5, 6 or 7) normally (thru levels) and stop at the start of arena level.
2) Others join him.
3) One of players click "Go Solo" button (and game create exact copy of this arena level and teleport him to the start of it). - this player called "anchor".
4) Other team members go thru all arena (while anchor staying at the start).
5) After arena - players choose "Go Up" option on the lift (anchor still stay, where he is).
6) After that - players join the anchor.
Repeat steps 3-6 (its called "round")
Rules
Theres many problems that can happend while doing arena trick (most of them - because players always on two separate levels). And theres some rules, that helps keep order:
1) Alphabetical order of anchors.
Nobody wants to stay and wait for others. And to prevent wasting time, arguing and questions like "Who will be the next anchor?" or "I forgot, am I next or not?" - alphabetical order is the best.
2) Always send friend requests to other teamates.
And answer to requests from other teamates.
It will helpes tracking the situation.
3) When something happend - tell others.
First message - to anchor.
Second - to team (or to one of the team members if, for any reason, you not with them).
If you with party, and get message from player that left level and he explain his problems - tell about that to other party memebers.
More usage of arena trick
You can do arena trick on more hard arenas, and actually on level 9 (stratum 3), and level 19 (stratum 5) arenas - you dont need fo anchor. You can just click "Create Party" and go to this arenas directly thru gate.
(Dont try arena trick on Stratum 1 (levels 2-4) - it takes more crowns than gives.)
5 people arena trick teams
If theres 5 people, who want to do arena trick - you still can do it (and for hard arenas - its much better with 5-people teams).
To play with 5 people team - at step 6) - anchor first invite next anchor, and only after next anchor go solo - he invite other 3 players.
If theres 6 or more people wanting to do arena trick
Than "anchor line" is not effective.
And one of players (someone who need crowns and dont need heat) - become "gate".
Gate player - always stand at the arena start (he can minimyze game window and do something else).
After choosing gate-player - other players split on 4-people teams. Each team choose capitain.
At the start of each round capitain join the gate-player, then capitain go solo and other team members join captain.
Also, at the end of each arena each player send mail with 100 crowns to gate-player.
Theres can be any amount of teams and players doing this trick with help of one gate-player.
Way to express arena trick
If players dont want to wait someone (someone can go offline on 10-20 minutes or go to Haven to craft weapons) they can make things faster.
To do this - they need only next anchor in team. If he on level - they dont wait for others and go thru arena, so other team members can stop or join any time (for example - they can join while team in the center of arena).
If someone skip few rounds - its dont change the anchor line order.
If he skips round when he must be anchor - than he must be anchor when he returns.
If he skips more than one full round - teamates can find someone to replace him.
If players want to make faster arena trick with "gate-player sсheme" - capitains just dont need to wait for other team members.
