I had a birthday on may, 18. I was 30.

I have never liked to celebrate this holiday. It is due to the fact that I waited for something fairy from this day in may childhood, but I had never got it.

My family wasn’t rich and my parents weren’t attentive to me. For example, when I was 14, my mother presented me a pair of earrings. They were made of silver. I had never liked silver, but I always liked gold. My mother simply knew nothing about this fact.

I remember the one more event. When I was a small girl, I had big cheeks. My mother told me that they would disappear when I was 18. But on my 18-th birthday, the cheeks still were on my face. I was disappointed.

Besides it is a common belief, that an anniversary is a big holiday for all people. People celebrate it very noisily with a large company and a full table. But I am a very calm person, and I don’t have many friends and acquaintances. Therefore I didn’t want to celebrate my 30-th anniversary.

Instead I went to a car-care centre for the sparks plug replacement (замена свечей зажигания) in my car.

But I got a phone-call from my old friend Polina that morning. She was going to visit me in the afternoon. I agreed to it. Then I got a phone-call from the other my friend and relative – Olga. I invited her to my house too.

We had a light lunch at my place and then went to a Japanese restaurant. It is called «Jakitoria». There was my acquaintance - Katia, who had been waiting for us. We had supper all together with a bottle of vine and then we went to the bowling-club, which was named «КB-27».

My husband joind our small company at night in the bowling-club and all together we played bowling.

And now some words about presents. I wanted my husband to by for me the jewellery, which been made by Aleksey Pomelnikov studio. I went to the jewellery-exhibition in order to make my choice. This event took place in the Sokolniki-park exhibition centre. I found the jewellery, I wanted to have, but it was more expensive for my family (about 5 000 dollars). And I had to refuse from my wish. I told my husband about this situation. He said he would present me this jewellery next year.

On the morning of my 30-th birthday he presented me a big bunch of white roses. I was happy.
