На вихідних я випадково знайшла в каталозі нашого телебачення документальний фільм о дизайнері одягу Мартені Маржела. Це був точно доказ того, що висока мода повноцінний вид мистецтва! У історії моди були люди, для яких результат творчості був важливіший за гроши, за ставлення суспільства, яки тим не менш досягли шаленого успіху. Представник деконструктивізму, закінчивший академію тендітних мистецтв в Атверпені, деякий період працював помічником Жана Поля Гот'є. Але, на відміну від Гот'є, не бачив подальший розвиток мистецтва моди у настільки легкої, веселої і упевненої хвилі. Все, що він робив потім сам, не було поставлено на сталі комерційні стежки. Тим не менш, революціонером, зробившим прорив, вважається саме Маржела. Так вийшло, що це ім'я пройшло повз мене, хоча останній показ відбувся аж 2008-му році.

Він перший зумів вірно виділити саме основне що створює образ, означив ті рамки, які мають бути присутні обов'язково і підкреслів неважливість того чим вони заповнені. Вважається, що він займався препарацією структури одягу, він вивчав як рухається одяг разом людьми. Створив образ сучасної жінки, не як обов'язково сексуально привабливу, а, у першу чергу, як освідчену, із витонченим змістом у середині. Хоча всю кар'єру він не показував своє обличчя публіці, так само як Маржела придумав ховати обличчя моделей під вуаллю, або волоссям, його вплив на мистецтво був величезний! Створення колекцій починалося зі створення інтер'єрів для роботи. Маржела чітко усвідомлював що мода починається з контексту. Не він шукав інвесторів і команду, а вони знаходили його. Людина на вулиці, в ресторані, готелі - це дизайнерське рішення, витвір мистецтва. Якщо діє цей принцип, мода не є легковажною пустушкою. Постійні дослідження дали ту новизну, якої бракувало суспільству того часу. Подивившися цей фільм, я захоплююся Мартеном Маржела!

It was definitely proof that haute couture is a full-fledged form of art! In the history of fashion, there were people for whom the result of creativity was more important than money, than the attitude of society, who nevertheless achieved wild success. A representative of deconstructivism, who graduated from the Academy of Fragile Arts in Antwerp, worked for some time as an assistant to Jean Paul Gaultier. But, unlike Gaultier, he did not see the further development of the art of fashion in such a light, cheerful and confident wave. Everything he did later on himself was not set on solid commercial paths. Nevertheless, it is Marzhela who is considered a revolutionary who made a breakthrough. It so happened that this name passed me by, although the last show took place in 2008.

He was the first to correctly identify the main thing that creates an image, to mark those frames that must be present and to emphasize the unimportance of what they are filled with. It is believed that he was engaged in the preparation of the structure of clothes, he studied how clothes move together with people. He created the image of a modern woman, not necessarily as sexually attractive, but, first of all, as educated, with a sophisticated meaning in the middle. Although throughout his career he did not show his face to the public, just as Marzhala invented to hide the faces of models under a veil or hair, his influence on art was enormous! The creation of collections began with the creation of interiors for work. Marzhela was clearly aware that fashion begins with context. He was not looking for investors and a team, but they found him. A person on the street, in a restaurant, hotel is a design solution, a work of art. If this principle applies, fashion is not a frivolous pacifier. Constant research provided the novelty that society at that time lacked. After watching this movie, I admire Martin Margela!
